New Beginning!

Tue Nov 10, 2009, 11:29 AM

  • Reading: Cold War: A New History by John Geddis
  • Watching: Keeping Up Appearances on youtube
  • Playing: Sims 3
  • Eating: nothing
  • Drinking: nothing.
Wow it has been forever and a day since I've been on here. I guess I just kind of parted with my creative side for a bit, or more or less changed its focus. I haven't written a decent poem since high school, but I've been dabling in fan fictions and song lyrics off and on. I've also decided that I want to try to get better at taking pictures and maybe eventually getting a decent camera. For now I shall try to make my transition back to here smooth and not so cultural shocking. (ha! Second time this year for culture shock! Go me!)
Maybe I should quickly update as to my life at the moment. Currently I am studying in Sweden. I'm also learning the language, but thankfully there are courses offered in English for exchange students. I've been inspired through my boredom that has begun to navigate into my life as the daylight gets shorter and shorter. How I'm not going to enjoy the days when it gets dark at 2PM in the afternoon, but I shall try my hardest to bring my experience of being here to something that I can eventually post on here.
So, welcome back me and a hello again to all my friends I used to have on here if they are still on here. Let's hope I don't forget this place again for some time.
